Bermudan Sloop
27July 2010: Tight against the wind, this big Hanse went deep into the bay near Ruckle Park, Salt Spring Island before tacking - all nice and easy with the self-tending headsail... Nice breeze, great sailing day for time of year... 4 high resolution photos available. Continue reading ...

Bavaria 40 in Swanson Channel on Victoria Day.
This Bavaria 40 (best guess) was spotted in Swanson Channel on Victoria day. Nice day, though quite cool when the sun was hidden. Minimal breeze and we all soon threw in the towel and woke up the noisy diesel demon down below. Looks like quite a new, still shiny boat, though PNW winters will soon try to turn it green! Bavaria, perhaps epitomizes German engineering when it comes to boats. The company has perfected the art of building economical, mass-produced boats, but without the usual la... Continue reading ...

C&C in lead at SaltSpring on Sunday...
This modern C&C shows clearly how hi-tech sails and a well set up modern boat can make a big difference to sailing performance. Of about 7 boats participating in local race we sailed through yesterday, this C&C had a commanding lead over its competitors... 9 High Res images available. Contact me. This perhaps represents the more expensive end of local club racing. However, at the other end of the scale, these guys at the back were doing it for less but having just as much fun... ... Salt Spring Sloop
This sloop (I reckon it's a Tanzer 26) was also enjoying the racing in Captain's Passage, Salt Spring Island yesterday... Making the best of the light wind. This much fun doesn't have to be expensive! 3 H/Res images available. Continue reading ...
Salt-Spring Club Racer "Oasis"

Even a bad day's sailing is more fun than a good day at the office. Maybe my photos tell the same story.
Hopefully via my blog you will get a chance to look for some sailing photos of your own boat.
I've categorized the yachts by type and added tags regarding the size and other attributes, where known, which should be useful and make searching easier. You could also search for locations to find photos taken in a particular location.
After all, not many people get the chance to photograph themselves sailing their own boat, so perhaps I've done that for you already?
Please contact me. I'd be pleased to hear from you.
